Thomas Cook, Jet2 and Spirit Airlines are all customers of this Crawley-based company, which manufactures lightweight airline seating. Founded in 2007 by three industry veterans, including chief executive Chris Brady, 48, it now makes 3,000 seats a month for more than 30 clients. Sales reached £33.4m last year, when BGF bought a minority stake in the company for £7.8m. Acro focuses on economy-class seating, but is expanding its range to include business class.
