With offices in London and Manchester, ANS specialises in data centres and managed services. In the past year, it has won work from the National Health Service and the London borough of Tower Hamlets and, to celebrate, took its staff on a four-day trip to Ibiza. Chief executive Scott Fletcher founded the company in 1996, and its investors include the serial entrepreneur Nigel Wray, who owns the Saracens rugby union club. Sales rose 42% a year from £10.3m in 2008 to £29.4 in 2011, boosted by an acquisition last year and a decision to work more closely with fewer partners.
