Founder Sir Philip Green, 64, has been in the news defending the controversial sale of BHS to Retail Acquisitions for £1. BHS had been part of Arcadia, which he set up in 1998 and which also includes high-street brands such as Burton, Miss Selfridge and Dorothy Perkins. Its top-performing brand is Topshop, which in April launched Ivy Park, a sportswear line, in collaboration with superstar Beyoncé. The group reported sales of £2.4bn in 2015, including £370m from discontinued activities, mainly BHS.
