Algy Williams wants to make the video-games industry operate in a similar way to the film industry, by outsourcing many of its needs to specialist companies like Babel Media. Founded in 1999, the company translates and customises games for overseas markets for Sony, Eidos, Sega, Microsoft and Vodafone. Its sales grew 59% a year from an annualised £689,000 in 2000 to £1.7m in 2002.
