Aiming to introduce more technology to the construction industry, Biosite’s 120 engineers have developed a biometric fingerprint recognition system and wireless fire safety alarms. The Solihull firm focuses on safety, security and workforce management; more than 1,000 building sites in the UK have used its technology. Li Wang, 40, and Greg Reynolds, 36, established Biosite in 2010 and oversaw sales rising to £6.4m last year. The firm acquired the safety software firm Mosaic in April for an undisclosed sum and has expansion plans for Europe, America and Australia.
