Global brands, such as Caterpillar, that want to extend their brands into the consumer electronic market use Bullitt Group to design, manufacture and sell their branded phones. Under co-founders Colin Batt, 55, David Floyd, 50, and Richard Wharton, 41, sales at the Reading firm reached £10m in 2012. In December last year the Business Growth Fund invested £3.5m in return for a 25% stake. Future sales growth will be driven by an expanding international reach, new product launches, and new brands.
