This consultancy specialises in upgrading banks’ trading systems to make them work faster. During the economic downturn, many trading systems were not updated. Now, as banks start spending again, Citihub is benefiting from their need for speed. Founded in 1998 by Chris Allison and Keith Maitland, the company has offices in London, New York, Hong Kong, Dubai and Singapore, and is planning to launch a new division focusing on IT security. Sales grew 47% a year from £3.2m in 2007 to £10.1m in 2010, of which almost half is generated overseas.
