Promoted by NGOs and charities, its bars are popular in northern Europe, Canada and the US, where they are sold through retail chains such as Whole Foods Market. Exports of £6.3m last year were boosted by the 2015 acquisition of its sister company in the US. The firm is eyeing future growth in the UAE, Thailand and Australia.
