The Sheffield manufacturer has since developed a range of more than 2,000 products, which it ships to more than 80 countries, with exports comprising 87% of turnover of £48.6m in 2015, when it more than doubled profits to £4.6m. The company operates a unique employee ownership model, where staff must buy at least £1k of shares in the business after one year’s service.
