Husband-and-wife team Andrew and Debbie Keeble, both 51, launched this North Yorkshire premium sausage, burger and meatball brand after selling their previous sausage business, Debbie & Andrew’s. Heck! products target a younger market, with quirky innovations such as square, skinless and heart-shaped sausages – for Valentine’s Day – stocked in retailers such as Tesco and Waitrose. In 2014 Panoramic Growth Equity bought a 25% stake for £1m. The family-run company launched its first meat-free range in May. This, along with deals struck with other retailers, helped sales reach £11.2m in 2016.
