Heathrow’s Terminal 5 and Crossrail are two of the prominent UK projects this engineering and construction group has helped to build. It was founded in 1978 by chairman Ray O’Rourke, 69, who in April restructured the business into three core divisions to restore margins. It is selling its profitable Australian operations to refocus on its business in the UK after sales fell 13% to £2.9bn in 2015.
