Companies turn to NMQA to make sure that new software works as expected before it goes live, and can cope with heavy user traffic. Founded by managing director Jason Westhorpe in 2000, the company counts the BBC and Barclays among its clients. NMQA has developed a methodology which it claims has saved its clients significant time and money. It has also opened a UK test lab, which it says offers greater security and efficiency than can be provided by overseas competitors. These advantages, it reports, have helped sales climb 43% a year from £2.1m in 2008 to £6.2m in 2011.
