Founder Alice Hall, 28, started this Newcastle retailer from her living room four years ago with just £90. Since then the online fashion business has grown rapidly thanks to its use of social media, creating fun and inclusive content to engage its 1.2m Facebook followers. As well as a 30,000 sq ft warehouse in Newcastle, the company recently built its own photo studio, complete with a bar setting and catwalk. The brand’s popularity among women aged 18-25 boosted sales to £7.7m this year and the business hopes to expand in overseas markets such as the US and Australia.
