The Olympic flame was carried around the UK by more than 12,000 aluminium torches before being delivered to the London 2012 Games — and every torch was made by this Coventry engineer. Founded in 1992 by chairman Denis Meagher, 58, the group specialises in sheet metal work for the automotive, aeronautical, rail and defence industries. The recognition received since 2012 has helped generate more than £8m of new business, contributing to profits which rose to £3.6m in 2016.
