This London-based brand creates glitzy designs for phone cases, headphones and handbags. Its accessories – which range from bags emblazoned with the slogan “Unicorn tears” to glitter earbuds – are aimed at 18 to 25-year-olds and the company has several celebrity fans, including the singer Miley Cyrus. Brothers James and Richard Gold, 30 and 28, and their friend Lewis Blitz, 29, founded the business in 2011 and have since opened six London shops, with plans for a further 10 in 2017. Skinnydip also trades online and through more than 200 concessions in retailers such as Topshop. Launching new styles weekly and building a strong following on social media helped sales reach £6.6m last year.
