Stuart Hennell, 44, and Lloyd Amsdon, 42, set up this etailer of luxury, preowned watches in 2002 after realising there was no organised market to trade classic timepieces. The company’s website offers prestigious brands such as Rolex, Cartier, Bvlgari and TAG Heuer, with the average watch costing £4,000. Backed by private equity firms Piton Capital and Beringea, the company’s decision to open physical stores in London’s Royal Exchange and the Bluewater shopping centre helped to raise sales to £38.7m this year. In October it opened a shop in Leeds.
