WSH was founded in 2000 by chairman Alastair Storey, 64, and owns eight brands including Benugo, which runs cafes at attractions such as Edinburgh Castle and London’s V&A museum. Last year its largest division, BaxterStorey, was chosen to provide catering for Thomas Cook’s headquarters, helping increase turnover 15% to £732m. In February the firm won contracts to cater for PwC staff across the UK and Deutsche Bank in the City.
