Best brand award

The Buyout Track 100 award for best brand, sponsored by The Sunday Times, was presented by the business editor Dominic O'Connell to Tim Hockings of Hunter Boot and Nicolo Zanotto from the firm's backer Searchlight Capital. Hunter was founded more than 150 years ago, and now exports its iconic Wellington boots to more than 30 countries. Over the past two years profits grew 145% a year to £16m in 2010.
