Best brand award

The Buyout Track 100 award for best brand, sponsored by The Sunday Times, was presented by business editor Dominic O'Connell to Michael Ward, managing director of Harrods. The retailer attracts 15 million shoppers a year to its Knightsbridge department store and delivers goods to 40 countries. In the past two years, profits have increased 22% a year to £86.5m.
