The Buyout Track 100 best deal award, sponsored by Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets, was presented by Ian Brown, head of the European leveraged origination team, to Colin Maund and Kevin Gaskell of Achilles Group. The business was acquired by HgCapital in a £75m primary buyout in 2008, and has since tripled profits to £10.6m.
