The Buyout Track 100 best management team award, sponsored by Skillcapital, was presented by Mansur Khawar to Colin Smith, Nick Hateley and Tim McDonnell of Poundland. The management team has doubled profits to £30m over the past two years, and last year led the £200m buyout by Warburg Pincus.
