Sir Richard Branson presented the top award of the evening, sponsored by Virgin, to Peter George and Andy Leaver, co-founders of the fastest-growing company Clinigen Group. The Midlands-based company supplies medicines to hospitals and pharmacies worldwide. Sales grew an impressive 242% a year over the past three years to £35m in 2011 and it projects to reach £85m this year.
