Fast Track 100 awards and networking dinners
Fast Track organises an invitation-only national awards event for companies listed on the latest Fast Track 100 league table. It also organises regional dinners for current and past league table companies. Thanks to our sponsors, there is no charge to attend.
The 2011 event marked the 14th anniversary of the Fast Track 100 league table and was held at Sir Richard Branson's family home in Oxfordshire on 7 June.
The conference featured speakers Mike Clare, founder and president of Dreams which has featured on many of our league tables in the past, Keith Abel, co-founder and chief executive of Abel & Cole, and Nick Jenkins, founder and chairman of Moonpig.com. The afternoon concluded with an hour's Q&A session led by Richard Branson.
After dinner, a surprise guest took the stage in the form of NASA astronaut Mark Kelly, who evoked the excitement as well as the danger and practical difficulties of a space mission. The awards dinner in the evening honoured all companies on the latest league table, who each received an award certificate.

Each year Fast Track runs a charity auction for Virgin Unite offering Fast Track 100 entrepreneurs and their partners the opportunity to accompany Richard Branson on a South Africa wake-up trip to the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship, and his luxury game reserve at Ulusaba.Each year, two or three entrepreneurs have bid up to £110,000 each, resulting in a total of over £1.5m raised.
