Buyout Track 100 is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each February, with an awards event in March and regional dinners throughout the year.

A typical Buyout Track 100 company:

• has average 2 year profit growth ranging from 25% pa to 180% pa
• has profits ranging between £3m and £50m
• has sales ranging between £20m and £300m
• private equity houses should hold at least a 20% stake in the company
