After the 2001 downturn in e-business, this online pharmaceuticals distributor adapted fast and began acquiring retail pharmacies. Infohealth has bought five in the past three years, three in Surrey, one in Oxford and one in Middlesex, driving up sales 101% a year, from £499,000 in 2001 to £4.1m in 2004. The company was founded in 2000 by five directors and its acquisitions were funded by NatWest and by its principal supplier Alliance UniChem.
