This company makes prefabricated steel-frame buildings for the Ministry of Defence and prisons. With contract values ranging from £1m to £30m, an increase in sales has boosted profits 78% a year from £1.4m in 2002 to £8m in 2005. Managing director Dave Turnbull and finance director Kevin Wheat led a £37m management buy- out of the company in 2003, backed by Dunedin Capital Management.
