Recommendation from customer helped to secure contract with Sony
Founded in 1999, Systems Ability helps clients ensure that the software packages they install do not conflict with other programs or operating- system updates. It was set up by two IT consultants, Andy Jagger and Alisdair Hamilton-Wilkes, along with chief executive Michael Dick. The company says that a recommendation from an existing customer led to contracts with Microsoft and Sony. Sales have risen by 71% a year from £490,000 in 2001 to £1.4m in 2003.
