The next-generation networks designed and built by this London company are used by the likes of Close Brothers, Channel 4 and Sony BMG to transmit video, voice and other data through a single circuit. Last year the company secured £5m in funding from Bank of Scotland—now Lloyds Banking Group— to expand its network in Britain, as well as to China and India. Exponential-e was founded in 2002 and is led by managing director Lee Wade. Sales have grown 53% a year from £4.2m in 2006 to £15m in 2009.
