Allison Graham founded her party supplies and fancy dress business from her garage in 2001. Party Delights started off selling tableware for children’s celebrations, but the range has since expanded to more than 13,000 products, including supplies for grown-up gatherings, such as 1970s-themed parties. The company also runs white-label versions of its websites for Tesco Direct and Toys R Us, and plans to move into the personalised cards and invitations market. Sales grew 38% a year, from £3.6m in 2008 to £9.5m in 2011.
