2012 Tech Track 100

Rank: 30   Peach Telecom

Has acquired three competitors since inception and plans for more

Telecoms provider Peach Telecom was founded by Darren Scott-Healey and Martin Cook in 2006 to provide communications to small- and medium-sized businesses in the UK. Since then, the Hampshire company has grown by winning new customers and buying rivals, including Vantage Communications in late 2011. Peach differentiates itself by offering a wide range of services so it can manage all telecoms for customers, which it says makes their lives easier. Its partners include BT, NEC, and O2. Sales grew 85% a year from £1.2m in 2008 to £7.7m in 2011.
