2012 Tech Track 100
Rank: 83 Innovise
Has bought 13 companies in eight years and now has more than 700 customers
Innovise is an IT company split into two divisions. One develops software so facilities managers such as Securitas and Compass can manage job rosters; and the other manages complex IT systems for blue-chip clients, many of whom are in financial services. Innovise has bought 13 companies since it was founded in 2004, but its recent rise in sales is attributed to organic growth, as well as expansion into the Middle East. Under founder Mike Taylor, sales grew 44% a year from £6.4m in 2008 to £19m in 2011.
