Major NHS trusts and private businesses go to Block Solutions for advice on and optimisation of their infrastructure. The London firm was founded by owners Jon Pickering and Marc Chang in 2006, and now has 130 customers, all UK-based, in the healthcare, finance and e-commerce sectors. Sales grew 53% a year from £4.3m in 2009 to £15.2m in 2012, due to winning and retaining customers, including in the last year Nottingham University Hospitals and spread betting firm City Index. In April, Cisco named Block Solutions its Global Solution Innovation Partner of the Year in annual awards from its 280,000 worldwide partners.
