Managing director used to drive racing cars professionally
Telecoms managed services provider PMGC started as mobile phone retailer Premier Mobile in 1989. It has since evolved and offers services including hosted IT, cloud computing and managing customers’ communications systems. A key growth driver is its proprietary software, which helps companies analyse how their communications systems are used so, for example, they can claim back VAT on employees' personal calls. Managing director Jason Yeomans bought into the company in 2007 and completed the MBO of Premier Mobile and the acquisition of Phonebox, reversing both into PMGC Technology Group in April 2012. Sales grew 45% a year, from £4m in 2009 to £12.4m in 2012.
