Portsmouth company Bell Microsystems sells IT services, including the supply of IT hardware and software, secure data removal, decommissioning and disposal management. As well as its UK head office, it has operations in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Moscow and Boston. These offices enable it to expand and upgrade customers' IT systems when they expand overseas. Under founder and managing director Alastair Bell, sales grew 39% a year, from £19m in 2008 to £51.3m in 2011.
