The sixteenth annual Fast Track 100 league table supplement was published in The Sunday Times on 2 December 2012, with title sponsor Virgin.

Despite the downturn, over the past three years companies increased sales on average 89% a year from a combined total of £504m to £2.7bn. They have created more than 10,500 new jobs and now employ 14,000 people.

The league table features household brands such as Ella's Kitchen, GO Outdoors, Hunter Boot, Jamie's Italian and Wiggle.

The No 1 company is The Genuine Gemstone Company, a home shopping jewellery retailer. Its sales have rocketed 245% a year to £54m. See the press releases.
