2011 Fast Track 100 supplement
The fifteenth annual Fast Track 100 league table
supplement was published in The Sunday Times on 4 December
2011, with title sponsor Virgin.
Despite the downturn, over the past three years companies increased sales on average 87% a year from a combined total of £714m to £4bn. They have created more than 13,000 new jobs and now employ 18,200 people.
The league table features household brands such as Cath Kidston, Ella's Kitchen, Jack Wills, Joules and Patisserie Valerie.
The No 1 company is Clinigen Group, a pharmaceutical services provider. Its sales have rocketed 242% a year to £35m. See the press releases.
