Founded in 1929, Grundon provides services that include waste collection, recycling and incineration for clients such as local councils, British Airways, Vodafone and events such as Wimbledon. It has expanded into materials recovery and has invested in a £160m waste-to-energy plant, which it says will generate enough electricity to supply a town the size of Aylesbury.
