2013 Profit Track 100 supplement

The fourteenth annual Profit Track 100 league table supplement was published in The Sunday Times on 14 April 2013, with title sponsor PwC.
Profit growth ranged from 43% pa to 176% pa over the last three years, resulting in an average annual profit growth of 71% pa, with combined profits rising from £260m to a total of £1.3bn. The 100 companies have added 28,000 workers over the last three years to a combined total of 82,800.
This year's league table features shoe maker Dr Martens and construction equipment maker JCB. Other well-known brands include Wellington boot retailer Hunter Boot, and sandwich shop operator Pret A Manger. See the press releases.
The 2013 Profit Track 'Ones to Recognise' lists eight promising companies that did not make it on to the league table. The 'Ones to Recognise' programme is sponsored by PwC.
The 2014 Profit Track 100 league table will be published on 13 April.
