The ninth annual Tech Track 100 league table supplement
was published in The Sunday Times on 20 September 2009,
with title sponsor Microsoft.
The 2009 Tech Track 100 ranked Britain's fastest-growing private tech companies based on sales growth over the latest three years, from 2005 to 2008, or 2006 to 2009. Growth ranged from 38% pa to 189% pa, with sales typically between £5m and £30m.
Well-known names on the 2009 league table include online DVD rental company LOVEFILM.com, price comparison website Cheapflights, restaurant reservation website Toptable.com and fundraising website JustGiving.
