Fast Track is based in Oxford with 22 full-time staff and a network of freelance researchers. The research team interview most companies on the league tables and visit over 300 a year. The events team arrange around 40 dinners a year, including a large national awards event for each of the 7 league tables.

Fast Track was founded in 1997 by Dr Hamish Stevenson who secured cornerstone sponsorship from Richard Branson as part of a research fellowship at Oxford University, where he remains an associate fellow.

Fast Track's different league tables have spotted many successful companies before they floated, such as chip designer ARM and Carphone Warehouse. They have also helped raise the profile of many other private companies as they have continued to grow. Click on the logos below to read more.
