| Richard Tyler - Director of research and editorial Richard leads Fast Track’s research and editorial, working closely with sponsors and companies within our network. He was the enterprise editor of The Daily and Sunday Telegraph for nine years, covering private companies and government policy towards business. He trained in journalism at Euromoney, part of The Daily Mail & General Trust, after completing his degree at Manchester University. |
| Ying Chen Van de Walle - Deputy head of research Ying is responsible for helping manage Fast Track’s research. Before joining Fast Track in 2005 she worked for the Beijing subsidiary of French consultancy Metizo, and managed HR for City Centre Bistros. She has a masters in HR from Oxford University's Said Business School, and a degree in English from Beijing Foreign Studies University. |
| Eva Gronbech - Senior research manager (Part-time) Eva is responsible for special research projects, and was previously head of research. Prior to joining Fast Track in 1999, she worked for companies such as Kuwait Petroleum and Maersk Line. She has a masters in politics from Oxford University, and a degree in business from Copenhagen Business School. |
| Michael Cook - Senior researcher and freelance manager Michael is responsible for researching and identifying private companies and for helping manage Fast Track's team of freelance researchers. Prior to joining Fast Track in 2005, he worked for NatWest Bank as a senior tax consultant, and has held various positions in US Embassies abroad. |
| Mike Harding - Senior research manager Mike researches companies and is responsible for managing the Top Track 250 and the Profit Track Ones to Recognise programme. He trained as a chartered accountant with Grant Thornton (Oxford) and has an audit and corporate finance background. More recently he worked as a finance manager for Unipart. He has a degree in mathematics from Birmingham University. |
| Richard Heap - Senior researcher Richard is responsible for researching companies, and is helping manage the Profit Track 100 league table. He previously worked at UK commercial property magazine Property Week for five years, where he headed up the technical and legal coverage. He has a degree in English from Southampton University and a journalism diploma from City University in London. |
| Rhodri Lathey - Business researcher Rhodri is responsible for researching companies. He was previously a tutor of political theory and philosophy at Oxford University. He has a doctorate in politics from Oxford University and a degree in politics and philosophy from Durham University. |
| Beryl Parmenter - Case study co-ordinator Beryl is responsible for co-ordinating case study visits to league table companies and providing administrative support to the research team. She has eighteen years’ experience in the publishing industry, and previously worked in the Netherlands for DHL, Netherlands Railways and Indivers. She has an RSA Diploma in German and French. |
| Lindsay Uppadine - Senior research manager Lindsay manages research projects including the Buyout Track 100. Prior to joining Fast Track in 2006, she worked as a research associate at Library House in Cambridge; and spent three years as a post-doctoral research chemist at the Université Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, France. She has a doctorate and masters in chemistry from Oxford University. |
| Laura Vicary - Senior research manager (maternity leave) Laura is responsible for managing the Fast Track 100. She trained as a chartered accountant with Deloitte where she worked as a tax advisor in the research & development and mainstream corporation tax departments. She has a degree in psychology from University College London. |
| Lisa Wang - Business researcher Lisa is responsible for researching companies. She previously worked as a commercial banking analyst for JPMorgan Chase in the United States. She has a degree in economics and visual arts from the University of Chicago. |
| Claire Wheeler - Senior research manager Claire is helping manage the International Track 200 league table. She trained as a chartered accountant with Deloitte in its financial tax department in London. During this time she spent six months in Jersey working mainly on tax advisory projects for private clients. She has a degree in geography from Durham University. |
