The 13th annual Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 awards dinner was held on 21 November 2017 at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel in London.
The 265 guests included the founders, chairmen, CEOs and FDs of the featured companies. Guest speakers were Clare Gilmartin, chief executive of Trainline, and Simon Arora, chief executive of B&M Retail. Will Whitehorn, serial non-executive chairman, spoke at a pre-dinner roundtable discussion.
Each company received a certificate, and Iain Dey, business editor of The Sunday Times, presented the top company award to McLaren Automotive which has grown its operating profits 179% to £66m in 2016, on sales of £650m.
