Lloyds Banking Group is delighted to be the title sponsor of SME Export Track 100 for a second year, and a main sponsor of Top Track 250 for a third year, having previously sponsored Profit Track 100 for 13 years.
At Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland, we are committed to helping businesses of all sizes and sectors, giving them the funding and support they need to fulfil their growth ambitions at home and abroad. We approve eight out of ten loan requests and our most senior managers can approve new lending up to £500,000 and renew existing facilities up to £1m, at their own discretion.
Since 2011, we have increased our net lending to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises by 31%, while the overall market has contracted by 12%. As part of our commitment to support British businesses, we aim to provide around £2 billion of net lending growth every year.
Lloyds Banking Group is currently working closely with the Government to support the UK’s export ambitions to provide insight and introductions for firms looking at overseas markets. We are also supporting the Government’s aim to help 100,000 businesses export for the first time by 2020 and have pledged to help a total of 25,000 new exporters.
This is part of our pledge to help Britain prosper.
