The biggest mobile-phone distributor in Britain, 20:20 sells handsets and accessories and provides services to 8,000 customers, including network operators, retailers and dealers. The company was formed in 2006 when the private-equity firm Doughty Hanson backed a £347m buyout from the Caudwell Group. Led by chief executive Meinie Oldersma, 54, the Crewe-based business recently closed a number of loss-making operations across Europe and the Middle East, leading to a 17% drop in sales to £959m in 2013.
