This London company provides the likes of Lovefilm, Cheapflights and Aegis with internet technology, converged communications and data hosting. The firm was established in its current form in 2006 when chief executive Peter Knight led a £7.5m management buyout from Margolis. In 2007 it acquired the converged communications provider Centric Telecom for £6.3m, and in 2008 Adapt acquired Centrecore, which provides IT services. Sales have grown 72% a year from £5.9m in 2005 to £30.1m in 2008, as the company looks to expand into the Continent, Asia and America.
