London company Adapt links up with telecoms providers to resell network services such as internet connectivity, server co-location, managed networks and video/ voice over internet. In 2006, founder and chief executive officer Peter Knight led a £7.5m management buyout from its parent company Margolis, backed by a mixture of debt and equity investments from HSBC and Mezzanine Financiers. In July this year, Adapt acquired Centric Telecom for £6.3m from Alchemy Partners. With more than 1500 customers, including VNU and, it boosted its sales 140% a year from £1.4m in 2004 to £7.9m in 2006.
