Consolidating and upgrading IT systems is the core business of this Edinburgh firm, which saw sales rise to £9.4m last year. Business has been buoyed by the increasingly critical role of technology in banking, with Agenor assisting in IT reorganisations for the likes of Royal Bank of Scotland. Established in 2006 by Andy Smith, 51, it has also developed its own software, which it licences to clients. It plans to diversify into new sectors and recently started working with NHS Scotland on data management projects.
