Agnew Group

With 14 dealerships in Northern Ireland, the Agnew Group satisfies the province’s appetite for luxury cars. Marques include BMW and Porsche, and it won best British Mercedes-Benz dealership last year. The firm says it is one of the largest employers in Northern Ireland with 950 staff. It recently invested £5m in Portadown to build new dealerships for Mercedes and Audi. The Belfast firm was founded in 1931 by Isaac Agnew and is still in family hands, with David Agnew, chairman, overseeing sales of £348.6m in 2006.
