Working from 100 farms in Britain and Jersey, potato grower Albert Bartlett says it produces 20% of Britain’s fresh potatoes. The Lanarkshire firm is led by managing director Ronnie Bartlett, 50, and employs renowned chef Michel Roux Jr as a brand ambassador. Its sales grew 32% to £175.3m, driven by its expansion into America and France. It is now planning a move into Canada.
