Alliance Medical says it operates the largest fleet of mobile scanners across Europe, providing CT, MRI and PET/CT scans for the NHS and private hospitals in the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. It also operates a network of clinics and manufactures radiopharmaceuticals which are used for PET/CT scans. The Warwick firm, run by chief executive Guy Blomfield, 47, has been owned by a syndicate of banks since 2011, when it was forced to turn £380m of debt into equity.
