Passengers passing through airports in Dubai or Norway may not realise it, but Amor Group is one of the reasons they can do so stress-free. The Renfrew company has helped the airports’ owners to improve the flow of people. It is just one example of the transport, energy and public-sector services the company provides. The group was formed in 2009 after a £28m buyout of the IT division of Sword Group, backed by Growth Capital Partners. Under chief executive John Innes, Amor Group’s international sales grew 78% a year, from an annualised £1.8m in 2009 to £5.9m in 2011.
